Care for a Science Center Animal

Do you have a soft spot for a critter that’s furry, feathered, or scaled? The Science Center is looking to adopt out our live animals over summer break. We’ll give you training, written instructions, and an initial food supply. Adoption months will be approximately mid-June through mid-September. The Needham Science Center strives to be a state-of the art resource for elementary students and teachers that inspires teaching and learning about our natural and engineered world. Located at the Newman School, the Science Center serves as the science curriculum and professional development resource for Needham grades K-5. We provide kits and lesson materials, live animal visits, equipment, and field trips.
