Private Lesson Program

2017-18 Private Music Instruction Registration Information

Private Lesson Program

The Needham Public Schools offers a comprehensive program of private instruction for beginners through advanced music students. Private lessons greatly enhance a student’s success and enjoyment of a musical instrument. An improved level of individual performance translates into greater achievement in school ensembles, increase opportunities through recitals and select groups, and most importantly, increased enjoyment and self-satisfaction on the part of the student. All Needham Public School music students are encouraged to study privately if possible.

Private instruction is available on the following instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, and voice.
